st. johns town center spring fine arts show

      On Saturday and Sunday April 28th and 29th, the St. Johns Town Center Mall will be the site of the St. Johns Town Center Spring Fine Arts Show. With premium retail establishments and picturesque grounds, the Town Center Mall is a great place for the whole family to see the work of Jacksonville’s finest artists.

      Coordinated by j & Co. Events, the show will feature multiple works from more than 80 artists who specialize in all forms of art, including painting, pottery, photography, glass, and jewelry. This is the first year for the Spring Art Show at the Town Center Mall, so come out and support our local artists. Whether you buy a piece of art or not, your presence at the show will help our city’s arts movement continue to grow ever stronger.

      Even if you’re not really into the whole art thing, the show will also include a variety of special features that will please just about anyone. Check out the music of the Crystal Stafford Experience or enjoy street performances by Dallas Saupe throughout the day. For the kids, the Jax4kids.com Kids Play Land will be helping kids with make-and-take crafts (sponsored by JoAnn Fabric). The Jacksonville Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA) will also be coordinating a variety of art activities.

      Free and open to everyone, don’t miss this opportunity to shop for shoes and art at the same time. Enjoy a family outing that is certain to enrich and entertain. Artist works will be on display and available for purchase from 10 am to 5 pm on Saturday and Sunday.
